I couldn't let Jamie's first Easter pass by without a picture with the Easter Bunny. Although he is way too small for the Easter outfit we bought him, we wrapped him up in a yellow blanket so that he would sort-of look festive. Enjoy the picture!

Pictures to Remember
Well, even though neither of us is crazy about having our pictures taken, we thought it would be nice to get some "maternity" photos taken for posterity. Luckily, we have an extremely talented friend (Jennifer) who is the world's best attorney/amateur photographer and who is also very generous with her time! Working with little more than a couple of Home Depot light bulb contraptions and a black fuzzy blanket, Jennifer worked her magic and created some really beautiful photos. Although I think the ones with only Britnee are even better, here is one with both of us.
Before I forget:
THANKS JENNIFER!!!!

Baby Bedding
Sorry for not posting for so long...Kelly and I have been very busy getting things ready for baby Jamie to arrive. Above is a website picture of the bedding we bought for the nursery. This isn't exactly it, but you can get an idea of the colors. Our bumpers are slightly different and the skirt is different. Also, the crib is a dark chocolate brown. I will post a picture of the crib as soon as I find one. We also bought a big glider - it is the same color of green as in the bedding and is super soft and comfortable!
Tomorrow, the painters are coming to sand and refinish the trim in the baby's room along with painting the walls a light blue. I can't wait!

Kick Me
After a couple weeks of hearing Britnee telling me how much the baby was moving around (mostly early afternoon and late evening), I was finally able to feel an actual kick. It took a few days of trying to time it right, with a couple of false alarms (just her stomach rumbling), but there was no doubt when the actual kick happened. Very exciting!
It might become old news as he kicks more and more in the coming weeks, but it sure is cool now.
